“Remember that people are only guests in your story – the same way you are only a guest in theirs – so make the chapters worth reading.” ― Lauren Klarfeld
A year ago today I lost my Grandma Lola.
Mother to 5 boys.
Wife to a World War II and Korean War Marine (Chosin Few).
We named @LadyLolaMae in her honor earlier this year and had the bomber girl “nose art” painted in her likeness.

This is one of my favorite photos of us together and was just a year or so before she passed. En route to the casino, Grandma loved the slots!

It was amazing how fast she went from driving and laughing and cooking…to gone.
Hug your Grandma today. Someday you’ll wish you still could.
See you on the journey…

What if the things you want, aren't really things at all?
A Michigander living between Charlotte, NC...the mountains of VA and wanderlust (50 countries and counting!)… I am a professional coach, consultant and writer.
These musings are...mostly... about my sometimes futile quest towards a more minimalist lifestyle while still extracting every last ounce of juice from this life.
Less stuff. Less obligation. Less competition. Less keeping up with the Jones's. Less work. Less worry. Less to plan for. Less stress about trivial things. Less.
Chasing less. One thing at a time.
